My Name is Greg Martinez. I live in Southern California. I graduated from UTI in Phoenix Arizona. Growing up I have always been around cars, and have always loved the smell of burning fuel, and smoking tires. My step father owns an auto shop here in the South Bay, and works primarily on nostalgic cars. So this is where I find my roots. I spent a lot of my time growing up at his shop amongst his two 63′ chevy Novas, Early model Toyota Land cruiser (chevy 350 swap of course), 66′ Ford Fairlane, and other goodies. I worked at the shop for about 2 years. The experience was alot of fun. Getting to work on the oldies really got me into the car scene. When I got my first car a 1966′ Ford Mustang I was ready to jump into the scene on my own. Drag racing when I could make it out to the local Drag strip, and contently washing my car to make the next car cruise. I was a Die hard American Muscle Car guy. Then I went to UTI. In Phoenix I decided I needed another car. Something with A/C and fun to drive. Staying to my roots I looked for a sports car. I decided to get an import. And with that decision I set my eyes on the Rx7. And since then the import bug has bitten me. As my step dad says (a true Chevy guy) when I bought my Mustang I stabbed him in the back…When I bought a rotary I turned the Knife.Owning both a domestic Muscle Car, and an import Sports Car. I like to think of my self as a moderator in the brand bashing. A enthusiast for both sides. Cars are meant to be driven. Some just in straight lines, some around corners, Either way they are still fun.
Currently I work at a International Truck Dealership. Been there working on diesel trucks for almost a year and a half. So I guess I can add another side to my motor addiction.
